Baked Cod in Garlic Butter 🐟
Ingredients:
4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp dried oregano (or parsley)
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
Prepare the butter sauce – In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, black pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
Arrange the cod – Place the fillets in the baking dish and pour the garlic butter sauce evenly over them.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Serve – Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges. Enjoy with rice or steamed veggies!
