Ingredients:

2 packs of instant ramen noodles (discard the seasoning packet)

1 tbsp of sesame oil (for stir-frying)

For the Vegetables and Protein:

1 cup of broccoli florets

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 small carrot, julienned

1/2 cup of mushrooms, sliced (optional)

1/2 lb of ground beef or chicken (or tofu for a vegetarian option)

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 tbsp of ginger, minced

For the Sauce:

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)

1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional)

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp chili paste (adjust to your heat preference)

1 tbsp honey or sugar (optional for sweetness)

For Garnish:

Sesame seeds

Chopped green onions

Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions:
Cook the Noodles:

Boil the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce:

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, chili paste, and honey (if using). Stir until well mixed and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables and Protein:

Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef (or chicken/tofu) and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the broccoli, red bell pepper, carrot, and mushrooms. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Combine Noodles and Sauce:

Add the cooked noodles and protein back into the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the prepared sauce over the top and toss everything together, making sure the noodles are well coated in the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

Garnish and Serve:

Garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
