Shrimp Scampi Bowls with Garlic Bread 🍤


Ingredients:

For the Shrimp:

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
For the Garlic Bread:

1 baguette, sliced
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

Make the Garlic Bread: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Brush both sides of the baguette slices with the garlic butter mixture. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Cook the Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
Make the Scampi Sauce: Add white wine to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Stir in heavy cream, butter, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
Serve: Serve the shrimp and sauce over rice or pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with the garlic bread.
Tips:

You can use any type of shrimp you like for this recipe.
For a spicier sauce, add more red pepper flakes.
Serve the shrimp scampi with your favorite side dishes, such as a green salad or steamed vegetables.
